TF Urban has been designing and manufacturing street furniture for more than 10 years, working with more than twenty designers. TF Urban has taken part in the Saint-Etienne Design Biennale since 2008 with urban furniture such as  the connected bench Nomad, Banki, The Smallest Stand in the World.

In parallel with this “urban laboratory”, TF urban in partnership with the Biennale offers its new urban stool “Detroit”. Born at the end of 2016 following a call for internal project, the winner Eric Ferrand then worked with the team of Studio TF to arrive at the final product. It is presented in preview on the occasion of this 10th Biennale.

Its design takes up the codes of furniture of the sixties while bringing a contemporary image by its color. It is designed for the exterior and interior, so it can equally equip a coffee shop, hotel or restaurant as an interior furnishings. It is available in four colors but also it can be customized by text or specific colors.
