Novaciéries in Saint-Chamond
Looking for an exclusive and original signage for the Novaciéries park in Saint Chamond, Saint-Étienne Métropole turned to agency CAPP and CO, which reached into the site’s past to find its inspiration.
Within this appropriation of the past, CAPP and CO was inspired by the universe of the rolling mills, the railroads that once crisscrossed the site, the molten metal. The directional signs are presented like a composition: held between two rails, the molten metal-coloured signs indicate the directions within the park, while the cement-coloured signs direct visitors to the city
TF contributed to the signage and integration of design by producing and manufacturing the site’s signs.
